Customer accounts
Signing up and in, verifying email, resetting a password, and everything the account area offers.
Accounts are optional for customers — anyone can order as a guest. An account simply saves details and history to make future orders faster.
Creating an account
From Sign up, the customer enters their name, email and a password (and, optionally, a promo code). They can also start from a promo link, which carries a first-order discount through sign-up automatically.
Signing in
From Sign in, the customer enters their email and password. There is a Forgot password? link and a link to create an account. After signing in they return to whatever they were doing.
Verifying email
Some actions require a verified email. The customer receives a six-digit code by email and enters it to confirm the address. This can happen the first time they order with a new email.
Resetting a password
Forgot password works in three short steps: enter the email, receive a six-digit code, then set a new password.
Inside the account
Once signed in, the account area gives the customer:
Dashboard
Quick links to orders, addresses, saved items, notifications and settings.
Order history
Every past and current order, with tracking and receipts.
Saved addresses
An address book that fills in the delivery details at checkout.
Saved items
Products the customer hearted, kept for later.
Notifications
Order updates and shop messages, with an unread badge on the bell icon.
Settings
Change password, email or phone, manage sessions, and notification preferences.
Favourites (saved items)
The heart button on product cards and product pages saves a cut to Saved items. Saving requires being signed in.
Promo codes and first-order discounts
Discounts tied to a first order apply themselves at payment — the customer does not type a code at checkout. They come from either signing up with a code or following a personalised promo link. The checkout review confirms when one is waiting.
Discount codes and promo links are created by staff in the admin portal under Finance → Discount codes. See Finance.
