Customers

The customer directory, trust status, order history, and adjusting loyalty points and store credit.

Shop → Customers is the directory of everyone who has an account or has ordered. Use it to look people up, understand their history, and manage trust.

Finding a customer

Search by name, email or phone. The table shows each customer's name, contact, number of completed orders, no-shows (orders they failed to collect), and their trust status.

The customer detail panel

Opening a customer shows:

  • Contact — name, email, phone, when they joined.
  • History — completed orders and no-shows.
  • Saved addresses — with labels and a default marker.
  • Marketing consent — what they have opted in or out of, per channel.

Trust status

Every customer has a trust level:

StatusMeaning
NewA recent customer with little history.
TrustedA reliable customer.
RestrictedA customer to limit — for example after repeated no-shows.

To change it, pick the new status and add a note explaining why (optional but recommended). The change is recorded in the activity log.

Why trust matters

Trust helps you decide how to treat pay-on-collection orders and no-show risk. Restricting a customer is a considered action — hence the note and the audit record.

Loyalty points and store credit

The panel also lets you adjust a customer's account balances:

  • Loyalty points — add or remove points, with a reason.
  • Store credit — adjust their balance, with a reason.

Every adjustment is audited, so there is always a record of who changed what and why.
