The dashboard

The daily overview — live metrics, the order queue, and the signals that tell you what needs attention.

The dashboard (Today → Overview) is the first thing you see after signing in. It is a live snapshot of the day.

The four metric cards

Across the top are four live figures:

  • Orders today — all orders due today, across every channel.
  • Awaiting preparation — confirmed orders queued to be cut and packed.
  • Deliveries today — orders due to go out for delivery today.
  • Needs attention — orders awaiting preparation, low-stock items and open callbacks combined into one "look at me" number.

The live order queue

Below the cards is a table of the most recent orders, with four columns:

  • Order — the order number
  • Customer — the customer's name
  • Fulfilment — the slot, or the method (collection or delivery)
  • Status — the current fulfilment status (for example preparing, ready)

Each row links straight to the order — the fastest way to jump into whatever is happening right now. Full order handling is covered in Managing orders.

Operational signals

A sidebar highlights things that may need action, each linking to the right page:

  • Open callbacks — customers waiting for a call back.
  • Low stock today — cuts running low or sold out.
  • Failed background events — any behind-the-scenes tasks that did not complete, linking to the activity log.

The dashboard reflects the day's state each time you open or refresh it — reload the page to pull in the latest orders and signals.
